“We are simply devastated that we won’t see his smiling face again and listen to his stories and unique takes on life and human behavior.

“Rich was the ambassador of the band. He loved to meet new people and would engage anybody at a show in conversation. Rich was definitely a talker but much more so a listener. He would give you his complete attention, with his eyes wide and focused on you until you finished every word you had to say, no matter how difficult it was for you to say. A true caring soul and perfect friend.

“We will miss him everyday. Our hearts go out to his mother Marg and sister Kathy, the entire NYHC family, and everybody that loved him. God bless.”
